Limited Warranty and In-Home Service

WHAT THIS LIMITED WARRANTY COVERS: This limited warranty covers defects in material and workmanship in the Food Waste Disposer ("Product") or any part of the Product during its "Warranty Period" stated below. Spoon-Saver Incorporated ("Spoon-Saver") warrants to the original purchaser of the Product that Spoon-Saver will, at its option, repair or replace the Product or part free of charge, or refund the purchase price of the Product, subject to the terms and conditions set forth in this limited warranty.

WARRANTY PERIOD: The warranty period for the Product is 7 years from the date of purchase.

EXCLUSIVE REMEDY UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY: This limited warranty sets forth the sole and exclusive remedy for any defect or non-conformity in the Product. The repaired or replaced component is warranted only for the remainder of the warranty period of the original Product. This limited warranty may not be changed by any party on behalf of Spoon-Saver.

WHAT THIS LIMITED WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER: This limited warranty does not cover or include Product defects, non-conformities, damages, or losses attributable to or arising from: • Accidents, abuse, misuse, negligence, lack of or improper cleaning or maintenance, or damage from incorrect installation or mounting. • Any operation inconsistent with Spoon-Saver's recommendations and instructions that are generally available in the Product Owner's Guide or on the Spoon-Saver website at www.spoon-saver.com • Excessive wear beyond normal wear and tear from private household use. • Damage from fire, flood, or other acts of God. • Outdoor installations or use with yard or planting debris or soil. • Repair or replacement service performed by anyone other than a Spoon-Saver authorized service professional. • Removal of any other materials (such as sinks, counters, tiles, flooring, or other plumbing fixtures), re-installation, refinishing, or additional labor required to repair or replace the Product or part under warranty. • Installations in commercial, industrial, or investment property, or in multi-resident facilities. • Installations outside of the United States and Canada.

LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Spoon-Saver's liability under this limited warranty is limited to the repair, replacement, or refund of the purchase price of the Product or part. In no event shall Spoon-Saver be liable for any incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in connection with this limited warranty, including but not limited to, loss of use, loss of profits, loss of revenue, or any other commercial or economic loss.

HOW TO OBTAIN WARRANTY SERVICE: To obtain warranty service, the original purchaser must contact Spoon-Saver's customer service department at sales@spoon-saver.com. Spoon-Saver may require proof of purchase and/or inspection of the Product or part to determine whether the defect or non-conformity is covered by this limited warranty. This limited warranty is the only express warranty provided by Spoon-Saver with respect to the Product, and all other warranties, whether express or implied, including but not limited to, any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are hereby disclaimed. This limited warranty gives the original purchaser specific legal rights, and the original purchaser may also have other rights that vary from state to state or province to province. This limited warranty is governed by the laws of the state of Ohio.
